A bit about us...

Springing up from our love of a good cup of coffee, we decided to take up roasting beans as a hobby. What started as a hobby, has now become a craft, and a mission. We believe coffee should be good and affordable. We want to see it enjoyed and appreciated by all people. It is our mission that this craft brings us all closer to others, from all ends of the earth, where we can cultivate meaningful conversations and learn from each other. 

 

We know fine coffee can soothe souls, warm hearts and gather people in community. Some of our most profound conversations have occurred over freshly brewed coffee. Each cup has heard a story. A universal delight, all over the world. 

 

As empty nesters, one of our favorite things to do has been road tripping; and exploring every coffee shop along the way. It is our hope that Brava Coffee will be one you explore and find joy in, along your way. 

 

Starting with the finest raw beans, from all over the world, we roast them to their most excellent stage and then smoke them over special wood chips for a complex finish. While primary notes are detected, you will find yourself curious with that added touch: it's in the smoke. 

 

We are located in the Hardin Valley community of Knoxville, Tennessee. We sell online and soon may be in various local storefronts and Farmers Markets. Check our "Where to find us" page for updates. 

 

The name brava means many things to us. "Well done" in Italian, "brave" in Spanish, both apply to the roast, this venture, and our lives as redeemed sons and daughters striving to follow Jesus who saved us. 

 

As an added delight, our two precious granddaughters, Brooklyn and Ava, are in the name.
